Not every thing I work on fits neatly into a case study or any given project for that matter. And a lot of the work often goes unseen—either by design or by pruning. Early in my career while working with Louise Fili, I grew a deep appreciation for the details. From typesetting nutrition facts labels and barcodes, Louise instilled in me a level of care that even the unnoticed deserves attention. These are the artifacts—the unseen, the uncategorized, and the often unappreciated details of the design process.
